Shreya Sampath is a fourth-year student studying International Affairs and Technology Policy at George Washington University. She is interested in exploring the impact of AI and social media on human rights and privacy, both in the U.S. and globally. With experience in government and youth advocacy, Shreya works to develop inclusive tech policy and empower youth to participate in policymaking. She has previously served on the executive board of Encode and interned at the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, the ACLU, the United States Senate, SIIA, and the Brookings Institution. Outside of her professional pursuits, Shreya enjoys visiting museums throughout DC, trying different coffees, and listening to live music.
